A tested formula made of cottonwood buds, St John's Wort and Arnica works magic on most ailments on the surface of the skin. The Cottonwood tree is prolific in the Northwest and grows near water and boggy areas. The buds swell in the early spring and fill with a sticky resin. The resin can be rendered down into ointment, oil, or salve, which can be used to treat anything from eczema to sunburn, frostbite, dry skin, sprains, bruises, and rashes. The salicin in the tree's buds have a pain-killing effect that is useful for many conditions, from arthritis to tendinitis. For this reason, it has also been referred to as organic aspirin. These cottonwood buds were consciously gathered in the PNW along the Columbia River.

Directions: Apply topically to any bumps, scrapes or bruises. Do not use on open wounds or cuts.
